ABOUT OUR FOUNDING DIRECTOR

Dr Maanda Tshifularo is a skilled strategist, leadership coach (Integral Coach® UCT GSB, certified Gallup Strength Coach, an accredited practitioner of Insights Discovery, Accredited practitioner of Integrative Enneagram) and author (Lead with Super Clarity) and the Director of the GIBS Centre for Leadership and Dialogue and an adjunct faculty at GIBS. Until recently, he was the Head of Dialdirect Insurance, where he successfully led a business turnaround and was also awarded the South African product innovation of the year in the financial services category. He has held management and executive roles at MTN SA, Discovery Health and 1Life Insurance.

Maanda has a PhD in Finance from the University of Johannesburg and has completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School, the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Business Leadership from the University of South Africa. He is a SuperLead podcast host and an experienced summit moderator. In 2019, he was named one of the Mail & Guardian’s Top 200 Young South Africans and the Junior Chamber International’s Top 10 Young Persons in South Africa.
